Before You Leave It

Benches in the Wild is built on trust, presence, and small moments of connection.

There’s no perfect way to do this.

But if you’re leaving a bench out in the world, here are a few gentle guidelines:

• Leave it somewhere meaningful, peaceful, or unexpected.
• Let the bench speak for itself whenever possible.
• If it feels right, take a photo before you leave it behind.
• You’re welcome to tag The Little Bench Project or send a photo/story so we can see where it landed.
• No pressure. No performance. Simply presence.

Once it leaves your hands, the story belongs to the world a little bit too.
